LUCKIEST HAIL MARY EVER 🤯

On November 10, 2013, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green caught an improbable 51-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass from quarterback Andy Dalton as time expired in regulation against the Baltimore Ravens. The miraculous play capped a 14-point fourth-quarter comeback, tying the game 17-17 to force overtime.

The defining moment of the play occurred when Dalton's deep launch caught the wind and fell just short of the goal line. Rather than batting the football down to the turf to end the game, Ravens safety James Ihedigbo leaped and inadvertently tipped the ball upward and backward with his left hand. Green, who was waiting at the back of the end zone, caught the twice-deflected ball cleanly for the touchdown. Afterward, Green famously described the play as "all luck".

Despite the stunning sequence, the rally went to waste for Cincinnati. The Bengals turned the ball over on downs during their opening drive of overtime, allowing the Ravens to march down the field and win the game 20-17 on a 46-yard field goal by Justin Tucker.
