Speaking with one of Coachman Park's Special Event employees in an attempt to figure out how to deal with teh Ruth Eckerd Hall overreach and harassment issue. Very nice man.

Turns out he ushers at some of the events that Ruth Eckerd Hall puts on at the city. Seems like he should just be paid, maybe overtime (?) within his position to ensure the event runs properly. Clearly there is a need for this sort of oversight by the city since REH is taking so many unlawful overreaches. He's not subservient to REH. In a way, he's part of the city's watchdog group to ensure contractors are abiding by their contract. By making him an usher (I know, it's good for free shows and extra cash) he's just become subservient to REH. But, there is no need for that. Just give him overtime and pay him in the city position which he already holds. He's clearly a perfect match for the task and I bet he wouldn't mind the overtime pay . :-)
