After making their way to the new region, the party finds a town with a large tower looming over it, and all the inhabitants transformed into Seru monsters.
Quite a few hidden treasures in this town. Also a single new Seru monster we can absorb inside the tower, our first Wind Element attack.
Make sure Noa is equipped with an Earth Charm before taking on the boss at the Genesis Tree. The boss uses an earth element attack which can one shot Noa if she's not got that on.
Also, the Forest Amulet you find here will also come in handy against the Rot attack the boss likes to use.
The boss also hits very hard, and you'll want to keep your HP above 500 during the fight to avoid having a character get KOed. Just hit it with Noa's Frost Breath Hyper Arts, and the hardest hitting attacks for Vahn and Gala (also don't forget the new Seru we got here, since the boss is weak against Wind).
Keep that strategy up and you should be fine in this fight.
A quick way to cheese the boss and insta-kill it is to simply cast Nighto on it. The boss isn't protected against the instant kill effect and if you're lucky the fight will only last at most a few turns.
With the boss out of the way, Jeremi is rid of the mist and the townsfolk return to normal. In the next segment we'll be heading into the town and departing for our next destination.
