Since it will take the crew a bit to repair the Queen Fury's engine, Dart and the party investigate the Phantom Ship that crashed into them.
Take care with the Death enemies in the random battles on the ship, they like to use instant death attacks so it would be a wise decision to take them out first or use the Magic Signet Stone on them to stop them.
Also be weary of the Magician Bogeys as they love to inflict Bewitched status. There is a mid-boss type battle in the kitchen of the ship where you'll have to deal with three of them at once. They are considered minor enemies, so use your Magic Signet Stone and, if you have any, Total Vanishing to help with the battle.
Also in the kitchen, if you inspect the shimmering area in the upper right a bunch of ghosts will appear and give you four numbers. This is used for a mini-game on the upper deck in the room on the screen where you can get back onto the Queen Fury.
In this room you have a chest that is locked with a 3 digit number, and you have to find out the combination of numbers from the ones the ghosts in the kitchen give you, however you only have ten tries and if you run out of tries you have to fight a battle with three skeletons.
If you succeed, or you run out of tries, the password is reset and you have to go back down to the kitchen to get the new batch of numbers.
There are a total of 5 items to gain from this mini-game: a Stun Guard, Panic Guard, Magic Ego Bell, Talisman, and an Ultimate Wargod. It's a pain to run back and forth to get the passwords, but the Ultimate Wargod alone is worth it if you have trouble with additions.
A tip to help you: if none of the numbers you entered are correct you'll get a message after the "it doesn't open" message stating the amount of tries you have left. If you have a number in the correct position it'll simply say "..." So if you see that, you have at least one number in the correct spot.
I attempt to do it once on camera, and fail miserably because I wasn't keeping track of the numbers I used, so I sped that part up. I do grab the treasures off camera, however.
Once you have the captain's key, and have looted the ship of all it's goodies it's time to try to enter the passenger cabin, before heading in, I suggest buying at least one Dancing Ray item from the ship's item shop, and/or have Shana in the party.
This fight can be a bit of a pain, because you can't simply take the enemies out. If you kill one of the Knights they will simply revive after a turn or two. In order to win you will need to take the whole lot of them out at once. A good strategy is to get all the Knight's health down to critical (red arrow when targeting them), then focus on the commander until he is critical as well, then either use Shana's Star Children D. Magic, or use that Dancing Ray I recommended you buy (perhaps even both if you need to).
Once you finish the battle, proceed into the passenger cabin and watch the scenes that take place. Dart and Rose get thrown overboard and we get a nice FMV from Rose's past.
More scenes take place afterwords and we get our next destination.
In the next segment we'll be heading Feuno to try to rejoin the rest of the group.
