Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection

Edge takes on Challengingway's challenge dungeon, and Porom along with Palom head to Kaipo to visit Tellah's home town for some training.
Since Edge's dungeon segment was so short thanks to the way it's set up, I went put the start of Porom's Tale with it.
Edge's challenge dungeon can be a bit of a two edged sword. You are timed as soon as you enter the first doorway after entering the dungeon, and your reward will be based on how quickly you make it to the treasure in the last room.
Each of the rooms have chests that will respawn each visit into the dungeon, and can randomly hold some equipment guarded by Monsters-In-a-Box. However, opening the chests will cause NPC guys to start wandering around trying to get in your way that you can't interact with.
Here are some tips I've learned for getting faster speeds:
1. Choose your battles, certain encounters tend to drag on, such as 2 or 3 Lamias who willl use Entice every time they are attacked, or anything with the Bug monster as it has over 6400 HP and will counter with Flare every time you hit it. If you can, flee from these battles as they will just take way too long.
2. Use Auto Battle to speed up the fights. As far as I can tell using auto battle doesn't cause the timer to tick faster, but it does cause the fights to speed by a lot quicker (though I may just be imagining this).
3. Try not to spend more than 2 minutes in each floor. If you do skip the rest of the chests and gun it for the next floor. The other chests are typically filled at random and usually with low quality healing items so you can try for the other equipment on the next run.
Once you reach the final room you will get a chest with your reward. You'll only get the best reward if you open the chest in ten minutes or less. The rare rewards you'll get are as follows: Elixir, Flame Lance, Adamantite, Goblin Mask, Mist Robe, Treasure Band, Wing Edge, Blitz Whip, Kotetsu, and Earthen Hammer.
Porom's tale starts with what happens after the events of the original game. They go to Kaipo once they are free to leave Mysidia to go through some training since Palom wants to walk Tellah's path and become a Sage, and they find themselves in the Underground Waterway between Kaipo and Damcyan.
The path is the same as it was in the previous game, however there's a new boss here that will require a bit of a different strategy to take down.
This time, each of the boss' tendrils are targetable, and they are weak to Thunder spells. They are easy to take out, however leave at least one of them otherwise the Boss will regenerate them.
The head, however, will absorb Thunder and is weak to Fire.
Have Porom cast slow on all the targets then Protect (and Shell if you have it) on your team, while Palom uses a Hermes Sandals to speed him up. Take out all but one of the tentacles with a Thundara spell, once you get down to one, start blasting the boss with Fira while Attacking with Porom and Healing when needed and the boss will go down quickly.
Once the boss is down we get some scenes and we'll next be headed for Mist, which we will continue on the next segment.
