Success in getting a killer shot in landscape photography usually comes after plenty of planning for me, in this video I go out and explore a corner of the Peak District to help me in my preparations for future possibilities.
I haven't spent too much time in The Peak District before now and I wanted to get a hands on feel for the region that goes far beyond what I have been able to learn via other people's images or google maps. Being in a landscape gives you a much better understanding of what there is on offer and what potentially can become a killer shot further down the line, and here I explore Snake Path that leads over Kinder Scout as the sunset approaches.
The approach to the west of Kinder Scout is eerily beautiful with it's wide open moor and broad summited hills - it was also a prefect opportunity to have a test flight of my newly repaired drone!
This was mainly about exploring, and having a good stretch of my legs, however I often get a bit ambitious when I'm out hiking in a new area and always want to see what's around the next corner which is something I fall foul to in this outing.
