Why do you take photographs? Or why do you want to be a photographer? I have been asking myself this and contemplating what is driving me and what I want to achieve with my photography. Many people are driven by their passion for photography, but for me in some ways it feels so much more than that.
In this video I explore this theme, and accompanying are visuals that stray away from the vlog format as I experiment with creating more cinematic content. This style is perhaps more of what I want to publish on YouTube, even though it might not necessarily be what YouTube wants as people look out for photography tips, locations and inspiration. I hope that you do like this, and that my story and purpose go on to inspire you and your photography, or even the choices you make in life elsewhere.
I touch on the more personal need for photography rather than a general aspect. As the months go on I am finding it easier and cleansing to face up to the feelings I had whilst my mother suffered and struggled with her illness, and how I have begun to heal since her passing away.
The whole style of this film is a bit of an experiment overall, and I am very keen of getting your feedback. So please let me know with a like or any comments about it so I can use it to shape the videos I produce in the future.
