In this video I talk you through an image, and the decisions I made on what to include in the image in order to create a more meaningful composition that tells a story to me.
Sometimes, when there is a beautiful landscape but seemingly no definite focal point, it can be difficult to find a composition and difficult to capture an image you are happy with. However when you start to be more selective about what you include in the frame you begin to get an image that is more meaningful to you.
I have been to this location several times, and each time I have struggled to come away with an image that captures the beauty and uniqueness of the landscape. After using the technique I talk you through here, I'm getting a little closer, but still not quite what I'm after! One day I will! :-)
