I'm super excited to be debuting a new series here on Through the Mixing Glass. I'm calling it... The Hack Checker. In this series we'll put be putting cocktail hacks to the test and to find out if they're worth giving a try.

For our first cocktail hack that we are putting to the test, we're going to find out what is the best way to cut your limes in order to get the most juice from them. According to one Reddit post (link below), we're supposed to be cutting them into five individual pieces in order to get 100% of the juice.
