In our latest episode of "The Hack Checker" here on Through the Mixing Glass, we're taking a look at a technique known as Regal Shake/Stir. This technique calls for you to put a citrus peel in with your drink as you either shake or stir, depending on the drink.

The Regal Shake has been around for a little while and has its fans, but what about the Regal Stir? How can it possibly work without the ice and the cocktail shaker itself bashing the essential oils out of the citrus peel?
