Summer may be over, but #HighballSummer lives forever. Our final installment in this series is the new school variation of the classic Gin Daisy. With help from cocktail historian David Wondrich, we're diving in to the history of a classic highball that you should be drinking year round. Things get a little weird in this one. Bear with me.
NEW SCHOOL GIN DAISY
- 1 1/2oz gin
- 1/2oz lemon juice
- 1/4oz grenadine
- 1/4oz simple syrup
- Top with sparkling water
SPUMONI
- 1/2oz gin
- 1 1/12oz Campari
- 1 1/12oz grapefruit juice
- 1 barspoon simple syrup
- Top with tonic water
