Erick Castro is one of my favorite bartenders and a huge figure in the cocktail community. He's created some of my all time favorite cocktails. I'm excited to bring you 3 of his best tropical drinks, including the recipe for 1 drink that, as best I can tell, has not been published anywhere else.

IRON RANGER
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1/2 oz Falernum liqueur
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters

PIÑA VERDE
- 1 1/2 oz green herbal liqueur
- 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
- 3/4 oz cream of coconut
- 1/2 oz Lime juice

FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS
- 1 1/2 oz navy strength gin
- 1/2 oz sloe gin
- 3/4 oz lime juice
- 3/4 oz grenadine
- 2 dashes absinthe
