According to Memory Alpha, the Samarian Sunset makes two appearances in the Star Trek universe. But other than it undergoing an impressive visual transformation, we don't really know what's in it. Fortunately for us, NYC bartender Natasha David came up with this tasty riff on a tequila sour. Hope you like bad Star Trek jokes!

SAMARIAN SUNSET
- 1/2oz Campari
- 2oz tequila
- 3/4oz lime juice
- 1/2oz orange juice
- 1/2oz simple syrup

Pour Campari over one large ice cube in rocks glass. Add remaining ingredients to shaker tin and shake with ice. Gently pour shaken ingredients into glass, layering over top of the Campari. After photos are taken for Instagram, stir with bar spoon to combine.
