In April 1958, ITN's Michael Barsley travelled to Israel as the country prepared to celebrate the 10th anniversary of it's creation.

Barsley spoke to Golda Meir, then-Israeli Foreign Minister and later Israeli Prime Minister, as she reflected on her country's first 10 years.

ITN also spoke to regular Israeli's about what they did in the country, as well as watching a flautist playing and a group of young folks dancing.

'Roving Reports' was a series of documentary reports produced by ITN News from around the world, broadcast between 1957 and 1964. Black and White B/W material.
