I'm not sure what to call this glitch yet since it's pretty new and ought to be researched some more. So far, I've noticed it can happen in two boss fights: Chapter 1 and 3 Hecatonchires arm fights.
If you cast magic after certain QTE-sequences, Kratos apparently acquires incredible speed out of nowhere for a few frames. This is enough to send him flying to a direction and even clipping through walls in an uncontrollable manner. But since the speed only lasts for a very short time, he doesn't have the time to go too far away.
The timing for doing this glitch isn't too precise - there's at least a second after the QTE during which you can move, jump or do other actions before casting magic to activate the glitch.
All magics work for doing this glitch - both air and ground versions - with the exception of the air version of Soul magic. I've never gotten a zip to happen with that one, for whatever reason.
It can be hard to predict where you'll end up after this glitch. Your timing and position might both matter. It's still a mystery...
The video features various results from the first boss fights of the game. You mostly just end up out of bounds one way or another and get a game over.
0:22 - The second phase of Chapter 1 boss fight is of particular interest since you can end up out of bounds in front of the normal fight arena. There's a fair amount of floor out of bounds, and for a moment I wondered if it could be possible to get to the slide leading to Chapter 2 early from here. Unfortunately, it seems that the slide simply doesn't exist until you finish off the boss like normal.
Well, even if it did exist, it would probably be pretty high up... and there'd be no guarantee that anything was loaded at the end of it... oh well.
