This video showcases another use for the "Put Away break-out".
0:00 - The video begins with James already having broken out of the map examining action. I enter Neely's Bar and see the vaunted laundry cart.
0:10 - The same principle applies as in the ladder break-out video, although I still don't fully understand the strong break-out logic for the pushable cart. The timing / positioning is different from the ladder, for sure, but I'm almost certain it has something to do with evading or doing another ground action right before or immediately as James grabs the cart.
(By weak break-out, I mean that James can only rotate the camera and the cart a limited amount, about 45 degrees to left or right. By strong break-out, I mean that you can rotate the camera a full 360 degrees. This video showcases only the strong break-out effect.)
Things look normal for a moment, but if you try doing ground actions, James quickly turns and the cart simultaneously pivots around him. The cart doesn't respond to collision as it pivots, so it can end up anywhere inside the walls. You can therefore shove it through walls somewhere it doesn't belong.
1:10 - Sadly, it seems the cart is immune to gravity (?) and responds poorly to being moved on a wrong elevation. Therefore, it seems it's not possible to take it all the way to the streets since it just gets stuck. James also can't grab the cart if it's on a wrong elevation, even if the prompt is visible.
(Not on the vid: I also tested if you can place a cart against a wall if it has an angle. It IS possible, but rather finicky - the angle can't be very big or the game just refuses your attempt.)
And I would've gotten away with it, if it weren't for those meddling physics...
