Here's a curious side effect of peek break-out that offers an alternative way to start free roaming in Chapter 10. However, it will also make the game unwinnable...

0:00 - Shortly before the start of this video, I'd set up peek break-out, then ran through the wall of A&G Diner to hit the final mission circle of Chapter 9. I then saved at the save point between Chapter 9 and 10.

Upon reloading, York is so compelled to finish the peek action that he will do so immediately once gameplay begins. This action has such a high priority that it will even ignore the cutscene that would get Chapter 10 properly started.

1:00 - Upon exiting the peek view, York is on foot and free to move around. The action music normally accompanying this section is not playing, and instead of getting a new objective, the game is still pointing to the old mission circle from Chapter 9. Entering it does nothing, even during the proper time of the day.

For a short moment I'd held out hope that perhaps entering the Chapter 9 mission circle again would fool the game into thinking you'd suddenly completed the current Chapter again, thus skipping Chapter 10 entirely... but alas.

1:33 - Meanwhile, at Becky's House, the next mission objective can not be started. Operating the door does nothing even during 22:00 - 23:30. The gate of the mansion also lacks the mission circle that would allow you to continue the story. It seems the game is simply unwinnable now...

2:06 - As a curious side-note, using any other prompts between setting up peek break-out and saving can "corrupt" it. For instance, in this clip I'd done the same thing - set up peek break-out, completed Chapter 9 - but in this case I'd went to the mission circle through the nearby gate. Therefore, after reloading I got a different result where York started peeking near the opened gate and the game crashed after closing the peek view.

The crash probably occurs because the game is no longer clear about the connection between the used peek prompt and the portal through which York looks through inside the building. However, I've since noticed that it's possible to prevent or at least reduce the chance of the game crashing if you cycle through all the possible views while peeking before exiting.
