Disclaimer: in this video I use a modified save by Wulf2k9 where Kratos has the Shield sub-weapon without its data loaded in memory. This allows me to do a kind of a limited levitation on demand. Although I don't typically upload videos that feature hacks or cheats, etc., I decided to make an exception in this case since this OoB sighting is quite interesting and mysterious.
Chapter 29 is one of the game's shortest Chapters. You return back to the Prison for a single fight and that's it. It turns out that a large chunk of the Prison-level is actually loaded in the background as scenery, even though you barely even see it during normal gameplay.
There's one notable area that roughly corresponds to Hecatonchire's torso region that is a single tall structure with some walkways and burning background flames. Nothing exactly like this is seen in the actual game, although a part of the design is reminiscent of the tall elevator shaft seen in Chapter 3. It's hard to say if this could be some type of a prototype version of the level?
But it should also be noted that when Kratos climbs up the exit ladder at the end of Chapter 3, he emerges closer to Hecatonchire's left shoulder than the torso region, so neither the appearance or the physical location completely match the version of Chapter 3 we see in-game.
There are also some chests hovering out of bounds that can be landed on.
