...I was looking round the garden for fire roll options & came across the patch of ginger I planted a couple of months ago.
I've tried quite a few relatives of ginger & had success with all of them so thought I try & add actual ginger to the list.

...As with all members of this family it was relatively easy to process the fibres from the stems & after ten minutes drying they were good to go.

...I was a bit sloppy on the roll but luckily these sort of fibres are quite forgiving & I managed to root the ember out of it to make another #fireitupfriday.
