Do some sections of your waves stretch no matter what you do?
Sometimes that’s not a product issue. It’s over-clumping.
In this coaching session, we looked at how larger curl clumps can actually prevent waves from spiraling and springing up, especially in looser patterns.

When waves get pulled into larger clumps:
• They can’t form their natural spiral
• They stay stuck in a longer shape
• They look straighter than the surrounding sections
Instead of separating everything, you can often fix this while diffusing by:
• cupping the section higher
• using diffuser prongs to lift from the top
• targeting the stretched area directly
Small placement changes like this help restore movement without restarting your styling routine.
