You don't need different styling products just because your hair is gray. My clients with gray hair use the same products and get the same results.
Here's what is actually different:
UV sensitivity. Without melanin, gray hair is more vulnerable to UV damage. A UV protectant is a good idea — and one I recommend for everyone anyway.
Discoloration. Gray hair is more susceptible to hard water minerals and buildup. A chelating shampoo handles this — also something I recommend across the board.
Curl pattern shifts. Hormonal changes that come with going gray can change your curl pattern. You may need to spend a little more time forming curls, especially on shorter pieces.
