My channel turns 10 years this week, so I decided to do a special video of some of the glitches I've founded. For those unfamiliar with my work, this video is just a glimpse of the stuff I've found, go to my channel and have a look at my playlists if you like.

When I created this channel it had no real purpose, but I knew that I wanted to upload something unusual. So I started uploading some strange music I'd created, strangely edited videos etc. But one day I was playing God of War 2, and I was struggling to beat the Barbarian King on Very Hard, when I had an illogical thought:

"Can I kill the Barbarian King before he has even appeared?"

That thought led to my first ever glitch, which can be found here (note that this is a reuploaded version of my original, since the original was much worse quality than even this vid):

Anyway, I had discovered a way to break-out of the Barbarian King dragging-sequence, and I ended up walking around in an unintended area of the game. I then went on to find enough new glitches to fill 160+ videos for God of War 2 alone. I'd discovered a new hobby I became passionate about. Over the years I went on to completely break many games, and I founded many iconic skips and glitch techniques.

Glitching may seem like a silly thing to become passionate about, but I find that glitching is about making your mind sharper. Glitching is not only an exercise in problem solving, but it's also a creative endeavour. You have to find novel ways to use a game's programming against itself, only by using your mind and the game controller.

I find that this type of thinking enters your real life, it teaches you to approach a problem from various angles, to notice patterns and question as to why this has come about. It teaches you to notice the very small details in life which can be significant. In short, to use what's between your ears more effectively.

Thanks to all my subscribers and everyone that's followed my work over the years.

When glitching, you don't just have to "think outside the box", you smash the box and create your own shapes.

Cheers.
