Final Fantasy IV: Ultima is a hack by 8-bit fan that aims to present a more expansive version of the classic. New weapons, spells, bosses, and a modified overworld are just a few of the changes on tap.
The latest version of the patch can always be found here:

Version being played: 21.5
Ducked out of the boss rush since I needed to grind a very tiny bit. So long as Edward and at least one or two other people have a max hp ending in an odd digit, it'll make the surprise wombo combo in the 4th wave survivable.
In terms of other bosses, stuff from the moon begins popping up. None of the really hard fights...except for Wyvern. No extra copies of it in battle, but you absolutely NEED to end this fight with max hp on the characters with a max hp ending in an odd digit.
The next fight? Ogopogo...and not just one. There's two of them and they both open up with the dual Tsunamis which in theory should kill since 25% max hp x4 = 100%. Damage from percent based attacks rounds down so those with an odd digit of max hp will survive with 1 hp. Once you can get everyone back up in fighting shape, you should be able to blast the serpents down long before they get a chance to try the combo a second time.
Few more fights after the serpents, but nothing that should be a huge issue except MAYBE for Gilgamesh who closes out this wave of fights. Rewards for this wave take a sizeable jump upwards with a Chicken Knife, Apollo Harp, Artemis Bow, and Void Stone.
Of course, the boss rush difficulty is about to start spiking up something fierce. We'll see how next time.
