On October 24, 2020 I was invited to attend the annual fall steam day at Chandler Farms, a private collection of railroad, farming, and steam equipment in East Tennessee. Notable pieces include a Plymouth locomotive operating on a loop of former Knoxville, Sevierville, and Eastern (Smoky Mtn RR) rails, a steam roller, a fully-functional steam belt-driven workshop, and a 7.5" gauge live steam railroad. Huge thanks to Eli of Tennessee Rail Productions for inviting me and for teaching me how to operate the steam roller, and of course to the Chandlers for all the work they've put into restoring and maintaining the equipment and putting on this open house.
