After a long and troubled restoration, the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad finally debuted ex-Chesapeake & Ohio 1309 on their Cumberland to Frostburg excursions in the summer of 2022. Railfans came from far and wide to see the sight of the mighty 2-6-6-2 tackling the mountains of Allegany County, MD. This video was filmed over four days in May, June, and August.
