In a week the game Etrange Overlord will launch and today I can share the first two acts of the game with you all. The game tells the story of Etrange von Rosenburg who has perished and sent to Hell. But instead of accepting her fate, she decides to live her best afterlife in Hell full of elegance and sweets. You recruit a colorful cast of characters and assemble a roster of over 15 units. Each character has a distinct playstyle and unique finishers that make them great for different purposes.
The gameplay comes in the form of frantic, chaotic party brawler sessions where you take control of a character and need to complete various objectives like defeating waves of enemies or holding certain capture points.
The cool thing is that each battle has a unique element like turrets you can use or moving platforms that you have to travel with in order to reach key items. Most matches are played with 4 characters at the same time and you can freely switch between them to change up playstyles and attacks. The game can also be played offline and online in co-op and this creates so much fun since you really need to work together. Certain characters are better for support or healing and devices like turrets need to be resupplied with batteries in order to function. During the matches there are also item lanes that will have items, buffs and throwable weapons available. The gameplay is a lot more varied and it is wonderful to upgrade your favorite units and you can even improve the items.
