2026 has been an amazing year for horror game fans and we still have some great titles coming out later. One of those game is Dark Pals which is made and developed by fellow Dutch YouTuber @HorrorSkunx
I saw an interview with the creators recently and knew that I had to check the demo out for this upcoming Mascot Horror title. We had to an abandoned facility known as Upward and soon stumble upon some adorable, but dangerous mascots in the form of Chompy Chasey and a creepy guy who is seemingly brainwashing everyone on the big screen.
The game has a good setup and already some really creepy moments and nice easter eggs. The main gameplay comes in the form of a cute squid that you use as a weapon and can manipulate items with. The creators already stated that they had a whole world and storyline thought out, so I am curious what the future will hold for Dark Pals!
