Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Timberland rear wheel BES brake upgrade kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2013 to 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty, both the two-wheel and four-wheel drive models. And then your 2013 to 2022 F-350 Super Duty, the two-wheel and four-wheel drive models with the single rear wheel. And then we also have listed there for you the 2023 to current F-250, F-350 Super Duty, again, the two-wheel or four-wheel drive models. Now, it is important, especially on custom fit parts such as this kit, to go through our vehicle fit guide at etrailer.
Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, answer any other questions that it might have for you, and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now upgrading your suspension can improve your ride quality, obviously it can help reduce that sag when you're hauling or towing, and it can make your truck feel more stable when you're hauling and towing as well. However, it does not reduce the extra workload that's placed on your factory brakes. So if you ever felt like your truck takes longer to stop with a trailer, or maybe your brakes are wearing out faster than you expected, or maybe that added weight is making your braking feel less confident, that's where this BES brake upgrade kit comes into play. These low metallic OnyxBite brake pads are going to give you a strong initial bite and eliminate brake fade that occurs with frequent stopping when towing. So you're going to notice a more confident, consistent braking performance on every road trip. These multi-layered rubber shims here on the other side are going to help stabilize the brake pads during braking, ultimately reducing vibration, keeping the brake noise to a minimum without sacrificing braking performance. Then the second photo there is what the brake pads look like when you pull that shim off. Again, just a closer look at the construction of the pad itself. And these are premium G3000 raw iron rotors. And they feature Timbren's OnyxBond matte black coating on the hat, veins and outer edges. As you know, heat is the enemy of brakes, so this OnyxBond coating has a heat threshold of 932 degrees Fahrenheit, which is about 67% better than the standard Geomet coating most commonly used on OEM parts. The coating also is going to help protect them from rust caused by road spray, moisture, and winter driving, keeping your brakes looking cleaner between surfaces without affecting braking performance. The pads also feature a bed end coating indicated by the blue stripes that we see here. That's going to transfer to the rotor to protect it during the first stops. So you're going to be able to enjoy consistent braking performance sooner after installation. This kit includes everything that you see here.
