Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Kenda Turf Steel non-pneumatic tire for your mowers. Folks, this is going to feature a 24 by 12 by 12 tire on a four lug pattern with a negative 1.5 offset. So folks, if you mow professionally or spend a lot of time maintaining large properties, you know there's nothing more frustrating than getting sidelined by a flat tire in the middle of the job. Well, no more of that. Today we're looking at this Kenda tough steel tire and this has been designed to eliminate flat tires.
As you can see, it is again a non-pneumatic tire. It's a fancy new design. And I want to tilt this up so you can kind of see through there and just kind of see what's going on. So yes, these are strong enough to hold the weight rating that you're reading there on the page. Does have a very nice tread pattern.
Now as far as some dimensions up front, I got 10 and a half wide on the section width. And then overall I got about 23.9 inches in diameter. But again, it's a 24 by 12 by 12. And as you can see, you do get that nice center cap included right here. And as you can see, it's a four lug pattern.
Now it does feature a negative 1.5 inch offset. And if you're not sure what that means, basically that's from the center line. It's going to be offset, moving this tire wheel assembly outward, away from your deck, away from your suspension components and those kind of things. And this fits and works with many bad boys, Bobcat, Skag, Toro, and lots of other compatible zero turn style mowers that are out there. So again, this is a maintenance-free tire and wheel combo that's going to eliminate flats and keep you mowing longer and longer.
This is a great upgrade, again, especially if you own a lawnmower business or you're doing commercial landscaping or commercial jobs, those kind of things. Or if you just have a whole lot of grass that you're always mowing, this is a great option. And again, this pattern is what we call a bar shape trip pattern. That's going to give you excellent traction, especially on hills, wet grass, but it's also going to reduce turf damage as well whenever you have to make those tight zero turn maneuvers.
