Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Timbren Rear Wheel BES Brake Upgrade Kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2015 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, and then the 3500 with the single rear wheels. Now on custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend going through our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer, pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle, answer any other questions it might have for you, and that fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now upgrading the suspension of your truck can improve ride quality, it can reduce sag, and it can make your truck feel more stable while you're towing or hauling.
But it doesn't reduce the extra workload place on your factory brakes. If you've ever felt like your truck takes longer to brake when you are hooked up to a trailer or you're hauling a heavy load, or maybe your brakes are wearing out faster than expected, or the added weight is making your braking feel less confident, that's where this BES brake upgrade kit is going to come into play. This kit is designed to make your truck stronger and more consistent when you're braking, so it's going to carry heavier loads. As you know, heat is the enemy of brakes. This OnyxBond coating has a heat threshold of up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 67% better than the standard GEOMET coating most commonly used on OEM parts. This coating's also going to help protect them from rust that's caused by road spray, moisture, and winter driving.
It's going to help keep your brakes looking cleaner between services without affecting braking performance. Now the pads and the rotors feature a break-in coating and finish that's going to help speed up the bedding-in process so you're going to be able to enjoy consistent braking performance sooner rather than later. And installation is relatively straightforward. It comes with everything that you need, the rotors, the brake pads, the hardware, and the lubricant.
