Hi everybody. Andy here with the etrailer. Let's take a quick look at these Timbren front or rear wheel BES disc brake pads. Now these brake pads are custom fit to fit the Sierras and Silverados that you see there on your screen. So it is vital that you go through our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer, pop in the year, make and model of your vehicle, answer any other questions that it has for you. And our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Also, I wanted to mention that we do have complete kits available that include the rotors with the brake pads that are designed for your vehicle. So if you want the complete kit, rotors and brake pads, again, go through our vehicle fit guide and it will point you in the right direction. So if you do a lot of towing, your factory brake pads can start to feel overwhelmed by all of the extra weight. These severe duty brake pads are designed specifically for trucks that tow and haul heavy loads. It's going to give you that stronger initial bite and a more responsive pedal so you feel more confident when you need to slow down.
Whether traffic suddenly comes to a stop or someone pulls out in front of you, these are going to give you better control during hard braking situations. These are also built to handle the heat that comes with towing. The fade resistant friction material is going to maintain consistent braking performance through repeated stops. So your brakes are going to stay predictable even on those long rains or in stop and go traffic. And because these are low metallic pads, they're going to naturally provide more stopping power, but they can also create more noise.
To help with that, these premium multi-layered vulcanized rubber shims are going to reduce squeal without sacrificing brake performance. And as you can see there, I have a photo there showing you a little closer detail of how the the shims are constructed. And also another photo there, just a better detail of the construction of the brake pad itself. So each pad is positive molded, which is going to ensure consistent density and precise dimensions for even wear and reliable braking performance throughout the life of the pads. It includes everything that you see here along with this sensor wire.
