Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at our DMAX Disc Brake Kit with Actuator for Tandem Axle Trailers. Now, this kit's gonna feature four 12 inch hub and rotor assemblies that have a six on five and a half inch lug pattern. Now, obviously I don't have everything on the table today due to space, so I do want to throw up an image real quick. Again, you're gonna give four complete assemblies of that integral rotor and hub assembly along with four calipers, the four caliper brackets and all the hardware, all the hoses, everything you need for the installation. So again, you're gonna have everything that you see on the table as far as your hoses, and you're gonna have enough assemblies here with all the bearings, racing seals, lug nuts to do tandem axle trailers.
So, one of the standout features to me is this integral rotor and hub design. So instead of separate components, it's an all in one piece. It's gonna make it a lot quicker to install. You've got slots in here to help drain out water. They're also gonna do a good job of keepin' heat dissipated as well.
And again, because it's a complete kit, should be a pretty simple upgrade or new install dependin' on what you're doing. That bein' said, if you don't want to tackle the install, we do have trusted etrailer locations around the nation that you can pair up with based on your zip code and scrollin' down and using the install local link below, and we can help pair you with those trusted etrailer installation places in your area. And of course, you're gonna get four caliper brackets. And again, all the hoses, everything is included in this kit. It's a very nice, easy to use and install kit in my opinion.
And again, you're gonna get everything included. Now, disc brakes offer several advances if you don't already know over traditional drum brakes from better heat dissipation that we mentioned, more consistent braking performance, better improved stopping power, especially during repeated braking or long downhill grades. The pads here on the caliper, these are a ceramic pad and pairing that with the 12 inch vented rotor is gonna give you improved control under load. Again, this is a six lug on a five and a half inch lug pattern. And this is a 12 inch integrated rotor and hub assembly.
Now, another good feature is that this whole assembly features DMAX's Max Coating, and that's a corrosion resistant finish designed to help resist rust from salt water spray, regular water, road debris, those kinda things. And again, you're also gonna get the hole kit. So, you're gonna get the electric over a hydraulic actuator here. The fluid will go in the top. You'll wire it up and everything. Make sure you do have a brake controller. You will need that as well if you don't already have one in your vehicle for this to work.
