Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at these Timbren front wheel BES disc brake pads. Now, these pads have been designed to fit your 2024 to current Toyota Tacoma, excluding the Hybrid, then your 2022 to current Tundra. On custom fit parts such as these pads, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle and answer any other question it might have for you, and our fit guide will confirm if these pads will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Also, I want to mention, we do have complete kits with the brake pads and the rotors that will fit your Tacoma or Tundra. So if you're interested in the complete kits, again, our vehicle fit guide will point you in the right direction. Now, if you do a lot of towing or hauling, your factory brake pads are gonna start to feel overwhelmed and you probably have already felt that. That's why you're looking for better brake pads. So these Severe duty brake pads are designed specifically for trucks that tow and haul.
These are gonna give you that stronger initial bite, if you will, and a more responsive pedal, so you're gonna feel more confident when you need to slow down. Whether traffic suddenly comes to a stop or someone pulls out in front of you, these pads are gonna give you better control during those hard braking situations. These are also built to handle the heat that comes with towing. The fade-resistant friction material is gonna maintain consistent braking performance through repeated stops, so your brakes are gonna stay predictable even on those long grades or in stop-and-go traffic. Because these are low metallic pads, they naturally provide more stopping power, but they have the potential of creating more noise.
So to help with that, these come with these premium, multi-layered vulcanized rubber shims. They're gonna help reduce squeal without sacrificing brake performance. As you can see there on the first photo that I have there for you on your screen, I have a breakdown, a close up of what those multi-layered rubberized shims look like, how they're constructed. The second picture there on the right-hand side just shows you what a brake pad looks like with that shim pulled off, just giving you a better view of the construction of the pad. Each pad is positive molded, which is gonna ensure consistent density and precise dimensions for even wear and reliable braking performance throughout the life of the pads.
And if you notice here, we do have an included bed-in coating that's gonna help with the pads. That's these blue stripes that you see here.
