Hello neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer. And today, we're gonna be takin' a look at the etrailer RV sofa with the nine-inch center console. Now, this is a sofa that's intended for your RV. It's modular, so you can break it down into smaller pieces, make it easier to move in and out of the camper. And it's gonna be really comfortable. So if there's any kind of upgrade you need, maybe your other sofa was just old, or maybe it's just uncomfortable and you want something newer, this could be the right choice for you.
So let's take a look. So this sofa really is intended for those tighter spaces inside your camper or RV. It's gonna be a total of 67 inches across, including the center console here. So make sure ya got your space measured out. You also wanna make sure that you're giving yourself four to five inches of clearance back here.
That's so that you can recline it fully. And when it comes to most reclining sofas, you need a lot more clearance than that. So being able to fully recline in a space as tight as we've got it is fantastic. It's just gonna be able to give you more open floor room in front of your sofa and still give you a full length to recline. So the upholstery is a material called Leathaire.
It's a synthetic. It's very easy to clean. I really like it 'cause it's got a soft, supple feel to it. I like the slightly pebbled texture. It really kinda reminds me of like a sheep skin or something like that.
But the coolest thing about this material is the fact that it's extremely easy to maintain. Spills and things like that generally come off with just a damp cloth. If ya have a stain that's a little tougher than that, you can use a mild detergent with that warm rag and it should be able to clean whatever you have up very, very easily. The padding in here is going to be a hard memory foam, and that is really good at just keeping its shape, keeping it comfortable. There are still hard springs underneath this for support, but moving around and things like that, there's no squeaking or anything like that. I wouldn't be able to tell there's any springs under here whatsoever. But that really kind of softness, and it's gonna keep its shape for a very long time, it's going to be easy to maintain because it's easy to clean. This is a sofa that's gonna last in your RV for years to come. So you're gonna have several options as far as cup holders with this too. We've got two here in our center console and one on each of the recliners. So you've got a place to keep a snack and your drink, whatever it might be that you need to keep here. We've also got a nice little cubby right here. And the thing I really like about this is most center consoles like this, the lid, it's snap shut. There's nothing to kinda keep it open or anything, so you're always havin' to hold the lid up. With the way that these hinges work on here, they've got a little bit of a spring-loaded action. So it takes a little bit of effort to kinda get it back down. But the cool thing is, is I can open it up and leave it up without having to hold it. So that to me is really convenient. I'll be able to keep, ya know, a TV remote, whatever ya need to in here while you're out camping. It's just overall a really easy to maneuver, easy to relax, just all around great RV sofa. But one of the really, really cool things about it too that helps it as far as getting in and out of the RV is that it's modular. All these pieces will come apart, including your back rest. So stick around and I'll show you exactly what I mean. Now, one of the biggest concerns that people have with RV furniture is how are they going to get it in and out of their camper For one thing, camper doors tend to be a lot smaller than the doors you have at home. The door we're workin' with today is just a little over 26-inches wide. It's pretty typical for a lotta campers out there. It doesn't leave
