This is the first parkrun that I've not been sure whether I should run or not. I almost went to A&E the night before as I was screaming in pain as my knee couldn't support me. A night's sleep helped a little but I couldn't have gotten around the parkrun without pain killers. Not a great position to be in.

Luckily running parkrun was the right call and my knee loosened up a little (at a subsequent physio visit I found out it was patellofemoral pain syndrome). I'm so lucky that I got to visit this fantastic parkrun. The team were awesome (especially Jeff the dog!) and the course was beautiful in the autumn sunshine. I was so thankful to have a party at the back with some great company.

The café is a must visit if you like cats. There are plenty of cats to play with plus to food is very reasonably priced. A real bonus to have somewhere spacious to get warm and parkfaff over a hot chocolate.

Huge thanks to the team for a wonderful experience.
