For T8S and T8FB, we need Parameter Adjustment APP to set the parameters. You can download the Parameter Adjustment APP from RadioLink official website.

We can use iPhone, Android phone and computer to set the parameters. I use iPhone in this tutorial.
(The version of iOS APP in this tutorial is V11.2.0. You can download or update the iOS APP in Apple App store)
And since the functions of the Parameter Adjustment APP for T8S and T8FB are the same, I take T8S as an example.
I have downloaded Parameter Adjustment APP on this iPhone. Here it is.
Open it. Click Connect.
(Make sure the bluetooth of the phone is turned on.)
A list of devices will pop out. Select RadioLink. T8S will beep. We need to press any one of the trim buttons of T8S. Then the beeping stops and they are connected.
We can see the servo value on the APP. Move the joystick, the servo value changes, which means the connection is successful.
Then we can set the parameters of T8S on the APP.
Click ADVANCED menu. Here is D/R, dual rate setting menu.
INH means the dual rate function is turned off. We need to set it to ON.
CH is the channel. Channels 1 to 4 can be set for different servo travel.
For example, I select CH1, channel 1.
SW is the switch to control the dual rate. SWA, SWB, SWC and condition switch can be selected.
This is SWA, and this is SWB. Both of them are 3 position switches. This is SWC, a press switch. Condition switch needs to be set in Condition function.
I select SWA.
The position can be set to UP, CENTRAL, or DOWN. I set it to UP, which means when SWA is pushed up, the dual rate function of channel 1 is turned on.
The RATIO defaults to 100. I set it to 50%, the half travel.
And click WRITE to save the modifications. The beeping sounds means the settings are saved.
Return to the servo display. Push the joystick of channel 1. The travel amount is 100% on both sides.
Push SWA up, the dual rate function of channel 1 is turned on. Push the joystick of channel 1. The travel amount is 50% on both sides, which means the settings are successful.
You can set different travel amounts for the four channels.
For example, I set the dual rate of another channel, channel 2.
I can also assign the same switch for channel 1, or use the different switch. I assign another switch, SWB. And the position is UP. That is to say, when SWB is pushed up, the dual rate function of channel 2 is turned on.
I set the RATIO to 80%
Return to the servo display. Push the joystick of channel 2. The travel amount is 100% on both sides.
Push SWB up, the dual rate function of channel 2 is turned on. Push the joystick of channel 2. The travel amount is 80% on both sides, which means the settings of channel 2 are successful.
Push the joystick of channel 1, the travel can also be switched to 50 by pressing SWA up. That is to say, the dual rate of each channel can work independantly.
By the way, when setting the dual rate, you can also set the expo.
I select the throttle channel, channel 3.
Here is the EXPO. The expo can be set from -100% to +100%
-100% means the joystick is the least sensitive in the neutral position, but the most sensitive at both ends position.
100% means the joystick is the most sensitive in the neutral position, but the least sensitive at both ends position.
The expo defaults to 0%, which means no expo setting.
You can set the expo according to your needs.
Besides, if you want to set the travel of other channels except channel 1 to channel 4, you can use End point function. Enter basic menu, END POINT.
You can set the travel from channel 1 to channel 8 here. The value defaults to 96. It can be set from 0 to 100. There are two values for each channel, which indicates the travel amount on the both sides of the channel. So you can set different values on both sides for each channel.
For example, I set the end point of channel 4 to 50 on the left, and 80 on the right. And click WRITE to save the modifications.
Go to servo display. Move the joystick of channel 4, we can see the end points on on both sides of channel 4 are different and travel is based on the end point we have set before.
But pay attention, you cannot assign a switch to control the dual rate, but you can assign a switch to control the dual rate function.
