Jiren has arrived in Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra as the third new character of Season 6, and in my opinion he is completely unbalanced and incredibly strong.
Played on Nintendo Switch 2.
Jiren (Full Power) is a Tank character built around his Strength Is Justice passive, which reduces the damage he takes from frontal attacks and, crucially, scales that damage reduction up the longer he stays in the fight. Once that reduction hits maximum, it converts into a powered up attack with increased hits, range and damage, meaning a Jiren who is left alive and allowed to build up becomes a genuine problem to deal with. On top of a Tank's already high base HP and auto regenerating armour, that makes him extremely hard to bring down and punishing to fight head on, which is exactly why he feels so overtuned in this match.
Hailed as Universe 11's strongest warrior from the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super, Jiren is a fitting pick for a character this durable. He also arrives alongside a new skin based on Kahseral of the Pride Troopers, continuing a strong run of Season 6 additions following Beerus and Goku Black.
