Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video covers a full playthrough of Chapter 11, The Long Shadow of Shinra.
Pure gameplay, no commentary, captured on Nintendo Switch 2.
Chapter 11 returns the party to Nibelheim, the hometown of Cloud and Tifa, which has been eerily rebuilt by Shinra following the incident five years prior. What begins as a tense homecoming quickly escalates as the party infiltrates the Nibelheim Reactor, facing a boss fight against the Diabolic Variant before pressing deeper into the Mako Research Facility for a second encounter against Yin and Yang. The chapter also takes the party to Shinra Manor, where a fan favourite from the original Final Fantasy VII makes his long awaited appearance as Vincent Valentine emerges from his coffin. A final surprise boss encounter against Roche closes the chapter out before the party sets its sights back on the Gold Saucer and the Keystone.
Chapter 11 is one of the most story dense chapters in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, packed with callbacks to the original game, major character revelations and some of the most memorable boss encounters in the Nibel region.
