Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video covers a full playthrough of Chapter 6, Fool's Paradise.
Pure gameplay, no commentary, captured on Nintendo Switch 2.
Chapter 6 arrives as a welcome change of pace after the intensity of the Shinra-8 in Chapter 5, dropping Cloud and the party into the sun soaked resort town of Costa Del Sol. What begins as a search for hotel rooms turns into a full beach day, with the party enjoying some well earned downtime while the mysterious black robed figures linger nearby. The chapter blends mini game activities on the beach with character relationship moments before the relaxed atmosphere is shattered by a Shinra tank assault, sending the party into combat to protect the beach before a boss fight against the Grasptropod closes things out. Chapter 6 also sees Yuffie officially join the party as the chapter comes to a close.
Costa Del Sol is one of the most memorable locations in the original Final Fantasy VII and Rebirth does it full justice on Nintendo Switch 2, delivering one of the most tonally varied and enjoyable chapters in the game.
