On August 24, 2023. Officers from the Sheboygan Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance call involving a firearm. Officers located the suspected vehicle with two occupants parked at a liquor store and noticed an open alcohol container in the center console. Both occupants denied any involvement with a firearm. The driver showed signs of impairment and was put through field sobriety tests. A search of the vehicle revealed a bag containing pills but no firearm was located. The driver was charged with ( OWI and Possession of Methamphetamine). He was sentenced to 6 months in jail, 36 months of probation, his license got revoked for 16 months and he was charged $562 in fines. The passenger was released without any charges.
