Rupert says: ‘If you enquire deeply into yourself and someone else, you see there’s no hierarchy. That’s your experience. But don’t just understand it intellectually – feel it. If you stay with this experiential answer to your question, it will undermine the relatively superficial conditioning you have.’ ‘All our ideas about being better or worse than others are superficial compared to the true knowledge we have of our self and of others. One is not better than the other, one is not more valuable. There is no hierarchy. This understanding should be the foundation of all our relationships.
