KULT News made an unannounced visit to Newark, OH (aka “Nerk, Ahia”), home of the Biggest Basket Building, on Oct. 11, 2023 and discovered a basket of deplorables in the local police department.
Officer Peacock (yes, really) was the first to arrive after a local dispensary hit the panic button after seeing a man outside on the sidewalk with a camera. Seriously.
Will Peacock behave like a professional or will she be an embarrassment for the entire Newark Police Department as her demand for identification is met with laughter?
When senior officer Phillips arrives will he behave like a professional or act like a child and refuse to give his badge number after repeated requests for it?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but with very few, when you are in public, if you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.)
