CTM’s ambrosia-ish fruit salad 😊
In the US, you can order Tupperware online here: mariaolipas.com
I never make the same salad twice. I always change it up with different pudding flavors or fruit options. This batch yielded about 40 cups of fruit salad. I’m using a 59 cup bowl to mix it all up in. It makes it easier to mix and incorporate well.
Ingredients
3 - 8 oz tubs of cool whip
2 - 16 oz tubs of cottage cheese
1 - 3.4 oz boxes of pistachio pudding
1 - 3.4 oz boxes of cheesecake pudding
2 - 30 oz cans of fruit cocktail
2 - 30 oz cans fiesta fruit mix
2 - 15 oz cans of whole seedless lychee
2 - 20 oz cans of pineapple tidbits or chunks
2 jars of Kaong (Sugar Palm Nut Fruit) You can find this in the asian aisle or grocery
2 jars of Nata de Coco (Coconut Gels) You can find this in the asian aisle or grocery
1 jar of maraschino cherries (to top as decoration)
1 can of sliced pineapple (to top as decoration)
MIx the cottage cheese, cool whip, then add the pudding packets by folding in gently.
Drain all the ingredients and mix everything together. Let it set overnight. It tastes better after its set and all the flavors mesh together.
There is no right or wrong way to make this and you can add or omit any of ingredients you like.
Enjoy!
