In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet raccoon applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (074) Mercury, (242) Metal Grey, (393) Charcoal, (106) Snow White and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook. Scissors. A darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the raccoon together. A small clear seed bead for each eye if desired.
The finished size will be 12.5cm x 20cm (5” x 8”) for the larger raccoon, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The medium raccoon will be 8cm x 11cm (3.25” x 4.25”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small raccoon will be 6.5cm x 9cm (2.5” x 3.5”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
