In my crochet tutorial today I’ll be showing you how to make this crochet man applique.
If you would like to view the crochet pattern for free, it’s on my website at kerriscrochet.com/crochet-man-pattern or you can download it from Ravelry at ravelry.com/patterns/library/man-3 for $1 at and LoveCrafts at lovecrafts.com/en-gb/p/man-crochet-pattern-by-kerris-crochet
You can also subscribe to Kerri’s Crochet Newsletter and get a free copy of the Crochet Cat Towel eBook at kerriscrochet.com/crochet-pattern-ebook-and-newsletter
For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (115) Hot Red, (393) Charcoal, (404) English Tea, (162) Black Coffee and (254) Moon Rock. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. A pair of scissors. Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the man together.
The finished size will be 15.5cm wide x 37.5cm high (6” wide x 15” high) for the larger man, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the man in Catona will be 12cm wide x 32cm high (4.75” wide x 12.5” high). The medium man will be 11cm wide x 26cm high (4.25” wide x 10” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small man will be 7.5cm wide x 20cm high (3” wide x 8” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
