In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet schnauzer dog applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colors (393) Charcoal, (106) Snow White, (074) Mercury, (110) Black and (398) Colonial Rose. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the schnauzer together.
The finished size will be 17cm wide x 25cm high (6.5” wide x 9.75” high) for the larger schnauzer, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the schnauzer in Catona will be 14cm wide x 18.5cm high (5.5" wide x 7.25" high). The medium schnauzer will be 10cm wide x 16cm high (4” wide x 6.25” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small schnauzer will be 9cm wide x 12.5cm high (3.5” wide x 5” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
