In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet London letterbox applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool. I used red, black, dark brown and white 4 ply crochet cotton. A crochet hook, I used a 1.5mm hook. Scissors, a darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the letterbox together. Thread to embroider markings on the sign if desired.
The finished size will be 16.5cm x 7cm (6.5” x 2.75”) for the larger letterbox, using 8 ply wool. The medium letterbox will be 11cm x 5cm (4.25” x 2”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small letterbox will be 9cm x 4cm (3.5” x 1.5”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
