In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet short pine tree applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona Cotton colours (244) Spruce and (162) Black Coffee. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends.
The finished size will be 11cm wide x 14cm high (4.5” wide x 5.5” high) for the larger pine tree using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the pine tree in Catona will be 9cm wide x 11.5cm high (3.5” wide x 4.5” high). The medium pine tree will be 7.5cm wide x 9cm high (3” wide x 3.5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small pine tree will be 6.5cm wide x 8.5cm high (2.5” wide x 3.25” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
