- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1 lb beef or 1 lb chicken, cubed
- 2 habanero pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 onion, finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons tomato paste
- 4 1⁄4 cups water
- 1 Maggi stock seasoning, cube (or chicken bouillon)
- 2 1⁄2 cups long grain white rice
- Salt and pepper
