The biggest hit of Classix Nouveau’s career, “Is It A Dream” reached #11 in the UK in the Spring of 1982.

Sal Solo and Mik Sweeney were founder members of the group in London in 1979. Their first album was “Night People”, released on UK Liberty in 1981. The album produced three UK hits, “Guilty”, Tokyo” and “Never Again”, which reached #45. Their biggest UK hit, “Is It A Dream” followed next year but after two more albums, the band broke up in 1985.
